Two down, one to go

I just posted about the Australian swimmer, Michael Klim. Shortly after I sat down to have my lunch and was working on a cryptic crossword in a book of puzzles I was given at Christmas. One of the clues mentioned Klim. Now I’m waiting for a third mention of him. His story will be on TV this evening so maybe that counts as one of the three mentions. The clue was ‘Klim quivers and quakes getting dairy drinks’. The answer was ‘milkshakes’. The photo is from a Swim Meet.

I have not done the crossword in English so far. The word Klim spelled backwards is exactly milk.

I like doing cryptic crosswords but I would never attempt one in another language. French is the only other language that I know a little but there are way too many words that I don't know.

We do get used to how the compiler frames his clues so that's helpful.

I found it really hard trying to get good photos. You had to time it right so their arms weren't in the way.
