About the same. Mostly with meats George hasn't asked for in ages.

@Ineeddentures I can't speak for other counteries, but the "used by" date is a suggestion. Marking the so-called peak of freshness.

I don't pay that much attention to these days because nothing is ever here long enough to go off.

How much milk do you two get through !
My fridge is about three quarters full. Freezer is full.

Well
We do use a lot of milk
So I would say we use between 14 and 18 litres per week

Well we both have cereal quite a lot
Milk frother for coffee runs through a lot
Then there is rice pudding
Milk shakes
Drinks of milk
And a neighbour who borrows some lol

@Ineeddentures That an empty fridge consumes more electricity is an old myth. My fridge is not empty, just enough to keep it running smoothly.

Oh well an old myth is an excellent excuse for me to keep all my favorite foods fresh in one place

Well Anna , everything in this town is within walking distance
But a fridge costs less.to run when it's full
Yvonne says that is just an excuse for me to have a good mountain here at home
