Paddington Bear is a fictional character found in British children’s literature. His first appearance was on October 13, 1958, in the book “A Bear Called Paddington” by British writer Michael Bond. He is popular in London, so after a visit to the wax museum, Martin sat down beside Paddington and told him all about it.
