Heavy rainfalls affecting us

Some towns and cities in our province are under yellow warning due to heavy rain falls caused by inclement weather.
PAGASA, our weather agency issued such warning for everyone to be vigilant because of heavy rains which may eventually cause flooding especially to lowland areas and landslides.
"A yellow warning signifies a lower-level alert for potentially hazardous weather, meaning you should "Be Aware" as moderate impacts like minor travel disruption, localized flooding, or utility issues are possible, requiring you to plan ahead and monitor updates, but not necessarily evacuate."
Bacolod City, the capital of our province, Negros Occidental is flooding her streets.
Last November 2025 one of the villages in our small city was totally devastated by flash floods of their residential houses. Until now they're recovering from such losses receiving financial aid, foods, clothing and medicines.

I can totally relate.to this.
Our small town made global news when a whole housing estate was made uninhabitable because of severe flooding
3 years on the houses are still there but they are not going to be loved on again
It was dreadful, people getting rescued on their roofs buy lifeboats on the streets
Cars floating away, caravans floating down the streets, pets drowned,
And guess what, it happened in 2016 as well.
After 2016 the council did sort the flood defence wall, just not enough
And a couple of weeks ago, it almost happened again

Sorry to know that. Ours is worse. There are flood control projects of the elected government officials but they're inferior. They're all destroyed by floods. Now those officials are under investigation by the Congress to let them accountable for the people's money.

The same should happen to council officials here as well.
They wasted a lot of money
As a result people lost homes , possessions and were all placed in temporary lodgings for a couple of years
