I had took a break from watching Marvel movies to watch Dangerous Liaisons. It is based on a French book called Les Liaisons dangereuses by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos. I never read the book, but I have heard of it. I have been watch The Seduction which is supposedly a prequel to the book. I will be watching the last episode tomorrow. The movie has Glenn Close, John Malkovich, Michelle Pfeiffer, Swoosie Kurtz, Keanu Reeves, and Uma Thurman in it. Big Warning: lots of sex and a two very sad parts. Spoiler Below. In this movie, a woman named Marquise de Merteuil had a lover named Vicomte de Valmont. She makes a bet to deflower a young girl named Cécile de Volanges. But Vicomte really wants to seduce Madame de Tourvel instead. So Marquise de Merteuil decides to use Chevalier Danceny to seduce Cécile. Then Vicomte doesn't get anywhere with Madame de Tourvel so he joins in with the seduction of Cécile. In the end, he gets in a duel with Chevalier Danceny and he dies. Marquise de Merteuil is disgraced when letters are revealed. I liked this movie, but I don't like the sad ending.
