Oliver is Back Home and Doing Okay

Oliver the cat is back home from the emergency vet now. $1900 later. No, I didn't say $19. No, I didn't say $190. I said nineteen hundred as in $1,900.00. OMG! They had to sedate him and remove both an impaction as well as a bowel obstruction. They've sent us home with a saline solution to soften his stool. They also said we could user over-the-counter MiraLax regularly to keep his stool softened and avoid future problems. Otherwise he's healthy as a horse. He's still walking like he's drunk because he's woozy from being sedated, but he's happy to be home.
