In one of the science cities I found the clapping tree very fascinating

there are sound reactive lights added in trees in one of the science cities. The moment any person claps the trees get lit up. Once the clapping stops there is no light. Children get very fascinated. The auditory energy of the clap is converted into electrical signal that triggers the lighting display.

I've seen lights that convert the sound of your voice into electric energy that lights up a room. And we have a light that turns on and off as you clap your hands or snap your thumb and finger.

@sathviksouvik I thought those were very interesting and wish I knew how they worked.
Wouldn't it be fascinating if we could get little kids to make the sounds of a car racing to run an actual car?

@DaddyEvil thanks DE that is an innovative idea. The sensor has to be created in that way.

I can imagine the children would be very intrigued with this.
