Cruelty to dogs....

Poor dog, life is not fair. Earlier today I was outside and intending to wash our front window. But it was a bit chilly and I decided against doing so. I wandered around the back and forgot the water and left it outside our front door. Then I heard a shout from the street. A man was sitting on the pavement , He hadn't seen my water and tripped over the bucket And he was blaming his dog for not seeing it. And he shouted and sweared at the dog and I'm thinking shout and swear at me instead I left the bucket there. Haha I noticed he was blind and the dog was a guide dog - not laughing at him being blind just the comedy of it Now wonder he shouted at the dog. Silly boy, want a bone? Woof. It wasn't my fault at all.

Poor dog, they are loyal companions and do not deserve to be abused.

What I couldn't understand was why he was walking so close to my door. Like really close because the bucket was right up against the doorstep

@Ineeddentures - May be the man feels safer walking close to the walls of buildings.

Well yes it does. But Guide Dogs For The Blind do not have the resources they used to have.

I don't like to see people shouting at their dogs. The dog should have noticed the bucket; but it's not perfect.

Maybe the dog has eyesight problems I bet nobody ever checks to see how well a dog can see

That is the main thing and my bucket was not compromised either. The hot water was wasted though

I guess even guide dogs get it wrong sometimes.
