This Nancy Guthrie abduction is heartbreaking

I mean they all are of course but it is getting such massive coverage because the 84 year old grandmother's daughter is Today show host Savannah Guthrie. She was abducted from her Arizona home early Sunday morning and was reported missing when she didn't attend church that day. She has a heart condition that requires a pacemaker and daily medication. Her family released a video overnight asking those responsible for proof of life and said that they were "ready to talk". I was getting ready for work this morning but I had the TV on so I heard it on the news. It was hard to hear. While on hall duty today I was checking the news online. Drudge Report had a still of Savannah's face in the video and it was a gut punch. I immediately teared up. There was a press conference by law enforcement this afternoon at 1pm. I was working so I didn't see it. New details were released. I don't know all of them but apparently Nancy's blood was found outside the house, the security camera feed was cut for 30 minutes, and there have been ransom notes sent to media outlets with 2 different deadlines. This whole thing is just awful. I cannot even imagine being in the Guthrie family's situation.
