I have a new Samsung Galaxy A36 cell phone. I got my grandson to set it up today and got a years' worth of service for it too. It's a bit thinner than my old one. (I think it was a A16 or something.) Can't remember. I do love the Samsung. I had Motorola first and then I went to Samsungs. Nice. Wasn't Motorolas the very first cell phones? Mine too. Hey!
I remember past 4-5 years ago I thought I would never get a cell phone. Then one night I was watching HSN and saw the Tracfone workings being explained. It looked so easy and so I went ahead and got one. It was so easy to use, and I loved having the alarms I could set and having all the data, texts and calling I wanted. How nice! Now I don't know what I would do without one. It has my life there at a glimpse. But when the internet goes down, I freak. What will people do without one? Ugh!
So glad to get this done and have my new phone. I will keep this one for 3-4 years then will look for another good deal on HSN.
How is your cell service? What type of phone do you have?

I have a Moto G Power 5G phone now. I just got it a couple of months ago and mostly like it. (It was supposedly just like my last Moto G Power except it isn't.)
The two phones paired nicely and said they were transferring all my contacts and photos over. My new phone said everything was transferred so I wiped the old one and gave it to Pretty. Then found out it didn't transfer any of my phone numbers... Everything else transferred except the phone numbers.
I found one of my old phones I didn't give to Pretty, charged it up tonight and transferred the phone numbers from it to my new phone. I've found two numbers that the old phone didn't have but I can call friends and family again now.

That must have been frustrating. I think mine messed with my alarms that I had set up prior to changing over. I went through them last night and had to correct some. Weird.

@DaddyEvil .......That's good. It's good that you kept your old phone. What's with Pretty anyway? It seems so easy for her to just disregard things.

@celticeagle I was really worried because I'd lost phone numbers for good friends but I got them all back from the old phone. (That was the reason I kept the old phone. It took me a while to remember how to turn it on and switch on Bluetooth so everything could transfer, though. The old phone was last used around 2010.)

I hear that a lot of people like their iPhones. I have great coverage through Tracfone and don't have to pay huge for a brand. I have been loyal to Tracfone for about 5 years now and will continue to be as long as they give me the great service they have in the past.

That is what I have. I almost got service from Mint Mobile but found out all the stuff I'd have to do and just decided to keep Tracfone. Your very first, huh? How do you like it?

@celticeagle I love being able to text and to make changes on my Walmart order without having to get out my laptop, check my email, etc.
