Do You Share Your Location on Your Cell Phone?

We have mother-in-law's phone set up to show us where she is. It doesn't matter so much now that she's in a Memory Care facility, but when she was on her own we would worry about her wandering off or something so we "tracked" her. Hubby and I share our phone locations with each other so we can keep track of the other while they're out in case the car breaks down or they don't show up where they're supposed to be, etc. My single girlfriends share their locations with each other for safety reasons. Oh, I don't share it with apps at all. Just my hubby.

I'm not sure. I have my location shared so I get weather reports for my township.

I share it with my best friend. I think it’s wise for someone to know exactly where I am.

No. That's the first thing I shut off when I get a new phone. I don't see a reason to track me if I have the phone with me... I can always call if something goes wrong.

We share with each other and with Damian, our 'Irish' son, but with our son it's more for fun and interest rather than for any other reason. We speak on the phone as he drives to work and we can follow the little green dot on a map. When we're travelling, he can see where we are too.
