FRIENDSHIP

We have relationships and one of them is friendship. I heard a show this week on a local channel where the host was warning listeners against forming certain friendships. Like he cited if you're married you shouldn't be friends with unmarried people. I do disagree since he mentioned some weird reasons okay well won't dig deep. Do you think it's a valid warning or too general what's your thoughts on this?
