I don't have heart disease in my family, but I wonder if there are some out there in Mylotland that do. There is new research showing that high levels of Niacin (Vitamin B3) is being linked to an increased risk of heart disease. Niacin is found in cereal, fortified breads, meat, poultry and bananas. I know that some people take the full Vitamin B complex to help with mood issues. What are your thoughts on this issue?

I am not sure but it seems that many vitamins and supplements affect people in many different ways.

if given the appropriate dose it probably won't cause any harm, I'm still looking and my parents probably take vitamin B Complex plus B12 in small amounts so it's safe. Apart from that, food must also be nutritious and if possible contain protein too.

Have not heard that. I have heart problems, but I do not take B3 or Complex. I take a multi-vitamin and has very little Vit B3. But I DO eat Bread and Oatmeal. Most of my problem is from collesterol.
