Not quite a dream - but still uncanny

This morning I woke up from a sort of dream; basically all it was, was a vision of a digital clock with green numbers against a black background, showing the time of 7:52. I woke up, thought ‘that was a bit odd’, looked at the time and it was 7:53. Weird or what? I couldn’t have somehow seen the time through my closed eyelids because although we do have a digital clock radio in the bedroom it is facing away from the bed so the lighted screen doesn’t disturb me. And it has black numbers on a grey background. And I can’t have heard anyone announcing the time on the radio or anything like that because everything was off; the alarm function is only set on weekdays and then it goes off at 6:57 anyway, and all was quiet. Any explanations??

That's odd. No explanation from me.

It must of been some sort of a dream or something. I really don't know. but it is strange the way that happened.

I can’t think of an explanation. Just one of those brain interactions we can’t explain.

Never mind your dream! I want to know, why you set your alarm for 6:57. What's wrong with 7:00?

I knew someone would ask that! At 7:00 precisely the news begins. And it's always bad. I didn't want to wake up to that, it's set on Radio 3 so I can wake up gently to some lovely soothing music. I tried 7:05 but just that small difference made us late, so 6:57 gives just enough soothing for a couple of minutes and then I can get up when the news comes on. I almost always wake up before the alarm anyway but it's still nice to have something pleasant to start the day.

My clock radio turns off the number illumination after a minute, so I don't worry about that. It only comes on when the radio does. Been a while since I've had a weird dream

I haven't had any dreams that I remember for a while either, I don't think I've slept enough!

@Fleura Same here. I seldom remember dreams, but I've read we always dream

I know that the biological clock can be very accurate; but I don't think it would be THAT accurate.

No indeed. I never imagined it as being digital either!

Strange to sound, not sure if it is due to the subconsciousness or the biological clock.

I’m stumped. That’s either a pure coincidence or your body/mind rhythm is supernatural.
