I need to get some new glasses

I have been noticing lately that I can't read the description of the TV show the small blurb above the program. Seems a sign of needing new glasses to me. I have had these maybe 4 years or a bit less. I will have to see what is covered now with my insurance plan. Last time I lucked out and everything was covered which is really good for progressives. I liked the frames too. Before I make an appointment I will find out what my allowance is. I don't like going to the eye doctor, but I suspect I am due. When was the last time you got new glasses, if you wear them?

I am having issues with my eyes also. I wear glasses for far-sightedness and I can really notice that things aren't as clear as they used to be. So I will be making an appointment to real soon.

a necessary evil. I wonder if I could get the lenses put in my old frames? They would do that at Costco.

@snowy22315 I bet you could. I donate a pair of frames and am kicking myself now. They were awesome frames.

I hope so...but with budget cuts and all, I would be surprised if they are.

We go every year and I bought new reading glasses and definitely have to wear them. Recently made our next appointment for when we go back north.

I can read without having glasses on, but I do really need them for distance.

I hadn't been checked for a few years and thought I'd need new glasses but he said my eyes hadn't changed much at all. I was really surprised but I guess he knows what he's doing.

I discussed this with my son just yesterday. I think it’s been 4-5 years since mine were changed. I don’t have vision insurance but I will go as soon as I can make it work.

@snowy22315 I have worn bifocals since my 20's, they are always more expensive, unfortunately.

Well, I need to go to the eye doctor, and I’m glad you reminded me. I take a medication that can affect your eyes, and I’m about a year past due for a check. I’ll need reading glasses someday.

I don't really need mine for reading, unless the print is small or rhe room ia kind of dark.
