I feel flowers grow better in the soil in the garden rather than pots

Whenever I have seen flowers growing on the soil in the gardens they have shown better blossom compared to flowers in the pots. I think one of the reasons must have been the scope of the roots to spread inside the soil. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/P2U-TPUoBBU

I think you are right but it depends a bit on the size of the pot and the size of the plant.

Aye. A tiny plant in a huge pot will grow just fine

It depends on how large the pot is and what type of plant you're growing. Most plants do well in pots as long as you change the soil in the pot once every year or two. Sometimes you get a bag of soil that was contaminated with something before you bought it, though. Edit to add: Yes, those are all plants (In your videos) with wide-spreading root systems and shouldn't be grown in a pot unless it is a very large pot.

thanks DE in the soil they can spread their roots in any direction they want. There is limitation in the pots in that perspective
