Favorite movie from 2001?

At one time I loved movies almost as much as life, but now movies are filled with stuff I don't want to watch, (I know it was this way in the past, also).
I liked a lot of movies from 2001, but my favorite would have to be The Fellowship of the Rings.

I watched Monsters, Inc and Shrek and enjoyed them both. I've never watched any of the Harry Potter movies or The Lord of the Rings or it's sequel.

Lord of the Rings doesn't follow the books perfectly, but they are so well done.
