Favorite movie from 2001?

At one time I loved movies almost as much as life, but now movies are filled with stuff I don't want to watch, (I know it was this way in the past, also). I liked a lot of movies from 2001, but my favorite would have to be The Fellowship of the Rings. The top 4 grossing movies 2001: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring Monsters, Inc. Shrek What's your favorite movie from this year? Picture is:

I watched Monsters, Inc and Shrek and enjoyed them both. I've never watched any of the Harry Potter movies or The Lord of the Rings or it's sequel.

Lord of the Rings doesn't follow the books perfectly, but they are so well done.

"The Taylor of Panama", i re-watched the movie a few days ago. I also liked "Moulin Rouge" and "A.I. - Artificial Intelligence".

So I have seen all the movies you mention The fellowship of the Rings, good choice But I can't even recall 2001 And that.was.a.Space.Odessy.

I can’t remember any However, I have to agree with you about the movies now. I stopped going to the theaters long ago.
