I watched Valmont. This is another version of Dangerous Liaisons. It was made in 1989. It has Colin Firth, Annette Bening, Meg Tilly, Fairuza Balk, Siân Phillips, Jeffrey Jones, Henry Thomas, and Fabia Drake in it. Big Warning: there is lots of sex, and one sad ending. In this version, Merteuil finds out that her lover Gercourt is going to marry her cousin. To get revenge, she asks Valmont to deflower her cousin. They make a bet that he wins, he would sleep with her and if he loses, he would become a monk. But he also wants to seduce a married woman named Madame de Tourvel. Madame de Tourvel does fall for him later on, but Merteuil forces him to break it off. He does deflower Cecile and Danceny becomes angry and he kills Valmont. I don't like the sad ending, but it was a good movie.
