Babies, anyone?

I was a bit surprised that babies are for sale online. Yes, babies. Newborn babies! Mothers in my country who can't afford to raise babies are selling them online for as low as $500. They said they didn't have plans to have babies or they have more than they can afford. They don't want to go through proper agencies for having their baby adopted so they resort to selling them directly to interested "parents." Which is of course illegal. P.S. Photo is of Sophie, my reborn baby, not a real human baby.

It costs more to buy a Chihuahua puppy here on Scotland than it costs for a baby on your country It may well be illegal what they do, but I bet you the new parents would pay an agency a lot more than 500. It's sad though that this happens that so many young women get pregnant and cannot support a baby Maybe , just maybe it's time that birth control was rolled out on a level like never before. I know it goes against Catholic Church doctrine bit something has got to change On a serious note, Sophie hasn't changed a bit

@toniganzon I would gladly help any lady who wanted to have a baby Before spending millions on adoption, try out Jimbo.

It's sad that this is the case. I wonder how many mums regret it in the future.

I wonder too. One of them was selling her baby for $5000 because she said she needed the money for her husband who's in jail! It's sad but when I think of those parents, the children being sold deserve to have better parents. I just hope that they go to parents that will truly care and love them.

I don’t know how you shut down that stuff, but some countries are more willing to turn a blind eye, I guess.

I learned about it in the news because an entrapment was done to catch those mothers selling their babies online. It's really sad. But I do really hope those babies went to better parents and they are truly loved.

I am pretty sure that this happens in some very poor villages in the south of Italy. It's illegal, but there are couples with no children who are ready to buy (and to be blackmailed later). Sophie looks so real.

Yes, I believe it does happen anywhere in the world. Illegal adoption has been happening here since time immemorial, however, I am surprised that they're doing it online now! They got caught anyway.
