Red crabs are generally very shy creatures. They make holes inside the sea sand. The moment they see humans they run and hide in the holes. When they come out in branches in the sea they look nice.

thanks Judy in the sea beaches the crabs are not that popular for eating. Many restaurants in India sell crab meat and it is eaten by a group of people
