Firefighters in Jacksonville Florida answered an emergency call when a woman named Cassandra Phillips fell into an icy swimming pool an attempt to rescue her dog who fell into the same icy swimming pool earlier this week due to extreme cold weather. The firefighters were able to rescue Cassandra who was not seriously injured when she was rescued by the firefighters as well as her dog. Cassandra showed her appreciation to the firefighters by giving them gifts at the fire station recently. It is very nice of Cassandra to show appreciation by giving them gift for saving her life. They are such heroes. I'm not sure what we would do without first responders.

I'm a bit surprised she couldn't get out of the pool on her own. That's nice that she gave them gifts.

Just don't understand how this happened it would be more logical if someone pushed or threw her in there,

Cassandra most likely fell into the swimming pool trying to reach for her dog,

They got there very quickly. Both the lady and her dog could have froze if they had not got there in time.
