The newest trend on social media.

Ever since AI escaped the tech lab and moved into everybody’s pocket, the trends have been multiplying like glitter. You blink once and suddenly your entire feed is doing the same thing.
The latest one that finally grabbed me by the curiosity? Typing a prompt into ChatGPT and asking it to create a caricature of you and your job based on everything it “knows” about you. Basically letting the robot roast you gently.
At first I told myself I wasn’t going to do it. I’m not usually the trend-jumping type. I prefer to observe from a safe distance with snacks. But after seeing it on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and even a couple floating around on myLot, I gave in. Peer pressure via algorithm is very real.
So this morning, coffee in hand and judgment suspended, I typed in the prompt… and waited to see how I’d be interpreted by the digital overlord.
Most of you know my “real job” is freelance writing, so that part made sense. It absolutely leaned into that. Apparently I give off strong “typing furiously while juggling deadlines” energy. I also do a few random freelance gigs here and there, which I’m assuming explains the headset. Nothing says “multitasking queen” like looking one minor inconvenience away from launching a podcast.
And if you look closely in the background, there’s cooking chaos sprinkled in there too. Which honestly impressed me. I do my little bake-with-me and cook-with-me videos and have made a few whole dollars from them. Whole. Dollars. So the fact that AI tucked that in felt oddly validating. Like, yes… I contain multitudes. And casserole.
Overall, I have to admit, it was pretty fun seeing how the internet sees me.
Have you tried this trend yet, or are you still watching from the snack table like I was?

Never heard of or saw this. It would be interesting to see what it came up with for me.

I think I'll keep watching from the snack table but I have been very impressed by Chat.

These things are here-today-gone-tomorrow, which technically makes them fads and not trends. Lol

You look great. You surely are. I am not a trend jumper too. I will see all from a distance.
