Friday (the 13th) Chit Chat

Happy Friday Everyone! it's a sunny morning and looks like a nice day ahead. Thankfully some of the snow has melted and if the temperatures continue to go above the freezing mark we might actually get rid of a good bit of it. Looking out of my window it still looks like a winter wonderland but I can tell we've had melting by the amount of snow that's left on my deck.
Today is Friday the 13th and I actually forgot. I'm not a superstitious person but my grandmother (my moms mom) was. I don't remember all of her superstitions but black cats comes to mind. When I was growing up we had a black cat and my grandmother freaked out. Guess my mom didn't inherit any of her superstitions.
I'm waiting for a Walmart delivery and usually they come on the earlier side of the delivery window. It's so convenient just having to bring the bags in from the porch.
Tomorrow is Valentines Day and I'm going to have lunch with my two daughters. Instead of going out we're going to get a pizza and just enjoy the day. I got each of them a small little gift to go with some chocolate.
Other than that, nothing else is going on. Looks like a pretty routine day.

I would love to have a pizza but I'm not going 30 miles for 1
so have a extra 2 slices for me.

I like your Valentine’s Day plans! I’ll probably just lay low. I’m at the ER right now, checking to see if my magnesium is low, or if it is something else.
The high today is 74, which is nice, and my dog is itching to go outside when I get back home, I’m sure.

It looks like it's going to start pouring any minute here. Thankfully, we aren't planning on going anywhere today. (We have a 70% chance of rain/storms amping up to 100% this evening.)
I did go in and dice onions, shredded a bulb of garlic, cut up half a dozen small Polish sausages and made some beanie weenies this morning. (It's really good.
) I'm eating a small bowl of it for an early (for me) lunch. I'd invite you over but you always make up excuses why you can't come over.

Skipped the gym today; already been 4 days this week. Had lunch at Texas Roadhouse. Now just enjoying the sunshine

Busy morning here. Spent half of it on th phone with my friend who has cancer. Her husband is out of ICU, but still not doing well. Then I spent a lot of time finding a gift and ha it shipped to him. And just as I sat down to myLot, the sister-in-law who was married to my husband’s brother called to chat and make dinner plans. She has a place on the floor below me and one unit over.
Enjoy your day and V Day . Sounds good to me! I’m a bit superstitious, so staying close to home. I sent hubs out to get some salad ingredients and am happy to say that he returned safely.
