At the ER

So, I went to the doctor this morning, and she said even if my shortness of breath and trouble standing and walking was low magnesium like back in September, I’d still have to go to the ER to get treated. So, I woke my long suffering dad up, and he’s with me in the ER.
Long Pause for Doctors and Nurses Coming In
They’re having trouble getting a vein. No surprise. They’re looking for someone else to try now.
Anyway, hope this is done soon.

Oh I hate that. I also hate the vein problem (I have that myself, the first thing I tell the nurse who comes in with the needles is, “I have little veins and they like to run when they see you coming”). I hope and pray you’re done with that treatment and you’re quickly on the road to recovery.

Oh no, I thought you were taking it again.
. I hope everything goes well. I am glad you checked in. I was thinking about checking on you this morning. Hopefully, they will do an EKG with their other blood work and tests.

I am taking it again, but apparently when you are low enough only a “rapid” amount at one time fixes the problem. I hoped taking it throughout the week would have fixed it.
They did an EKG when I first got here, and it was clear.
And thanks for the well wishes!

The nurses in the ER here had to use a machine to find a vein in Pretty to put in the IV last time she went to the ER. I hope you're feeling better by now. (I'm glad your dad could go with you.)

I know you've been feeling badly, so glad you went. I have the same issue with veins, plus they have fun blowing up a few veins every time, too. I hope that soon you feel better. prayers for you.
