The last of my Thanksgiving Napkins

United States
February 13, 2026 4:55pm CST
A week after Thanksgiving, I saw several packs of Thanksgiving napkins at Walmart for 25 cents each, so I bought several packages just to have at my desk, and this is the last one. Do you buy discounted holiday items and use them through the year? Picture is mine.

Yes, I do. I put napkins like that in the glovebox of my car and use them as tissues when we're out and about. Currently, I have a pack of plain white ones in the glovebox.

@misunderstood_zombie I have allergic reactions with a stuffy nose so often I keep a roll of paper towels on the headboard of my bed. The napkins are softer.

I also will use napkins sometimes, but if I'm sick I want tissues.

Usually there isn't much left after the holiday. I'm glad you found a good deal on them.

They sure are cute! I don’t normally buy discounted holiday items, but at one time I did and would use them the following year.

That's a good idea also. I bought so many of my kids Christmas presents like that, and saved them for the next year. I was always searching for "really good clearance" so they would have a great Christmas.

@misunderstood_zombie - The holidays are the same every year, what we buy is good for the following celebration.

My relatives like to buy discounted holiday items to save money and have items inside the house.

Sometimes if I buy them for a holiday I keep using them long after the weekend is always.

That is true also, because there are a lot of leftovers.
