I dreamed I got stopped by a police officer for jaywalking, but then a couple police officers on horses came by, and distracted that police officer enough not to get a ticket. Which was good because I had lost my ID.
Odd.
I feel better this morning, thank goodness. My friend wants to go out tonight to catch up, but I really don’t know if that is wise. It’ll be really crowded, the budget will be tight, and I don’t want to drag myself out of a place.

I'm glad you feel better but you probably shouldn't go out tonight... Just tell your friend you'll need to take a raincheck. Surely your friend will understand.
You just reminded me of the meme of the guy talking to a police officer who was on horseback. The guy asked if it was okay to pet (assuming the horse) but, when the officer told him it was fine, the guy reached over and stroked the officer's leg.

I have to agree with you that Feb. 14th is not the best night to go out unless you have to. I wouldn't go, either.
