Happy Valentine's Day

I hope all couples do that throughout the year. That would be really depressing if Valentine’s Day was one of the few days people went out on dates or said they loved each other. I try to get into every holiday. And with Valentine’s Day I would get everyone involved. I think it must be a family thing. My maternal grandfather would send a basket of flowers to all three of his granddaughters for Valentine’s Day. I’d get my my friends cards too, although I’d make them as a young person, and those went over well. It is nice though, for parents, to have a day specifically to celebrate. They’re so busy with responsibilities they might finally get a babysitter to enjoy a night together. Although, most parents seem to mainly just desire a nap.

Happy Valentine's Day! It's just Pretty and I so we don't have plans... She did tell me yesterday that I'd better be able to see well enough to drive tomorrow so we can go buy half-priced candy. I'm making homemade rolls today. I haven't made any in a long time.

Going out for Mexican. Friend wanted to come down here, but he is not my Valentine, and I don't want to send a mixed message. I might go up there next weekend if the weather is decent just to say hello.

Yeah, I have been a part of the Valentines day haters club since I was a little girl. Lol. I am reminded today, like all days the greatest love story ever is Jesus and what He did for us on the cross. I choose to focus on Him!

I do like Valentine’s Day, but we don’t make a big to do out of it. I am making one of his favorite meals tonight and dessert. He is working most of the day.

No plans here. Hubby and I never celebrated VD either.

We're do the same as you. It's become so commercialised it doesn't mean anything.
