Deputies in Florida rescue a dog that was in a canal near an island

Manatee County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) deputies Lieutenant Dwyer and Deputy Hart answered an emergency call from the owner of a dog named Indica who was swimming in a canal near Bayshore Gardens on Sunday.
The deputies boarded kayaks to rescue the dog that was in the canal and take her to an animal hospital to be treated for injuries to cuts on her paws and body when she to climb the oyster-covered the canal.
Indica was reunited with her owner as well as on her way to full recovery from her injuries from her time in the canal near Bryn Mayar Island.
