Rain Scene

I always thought the Bambi rain scene was the best part of the whole movie.
It's just funny and sweet, and mommy's and babies are running for cover during a storm.
Well, I showed it to Edith, my 3 year old great grandchild and she was not that impressed.
Of course, it is somewhat lacking compared to modern animation (it's 84 years old), but hopefully one day she can just admire it for what it is.
Do you like Bambi?

I don't think I have seen Bambi since I was a child in the theater. I wonder if it is ever on the Disney channel? It must be. It was devastating when Bambi's mother got shot, but at least I know now it is going to happen.

I bought that movie for Pretty when she was little but didn't pay attention to it. I was cleaning the house and cooking meals when she watched her movies. I've only seen bits and pieces when she'd ask questions about it. I don't remember a rain scene at all.
