Well, my last post looked more like a present tense so this time, I would try to be
more clear.
So just some time back, I completed my Short Visit to the Scandinavian (also Nordics or Northern European) nation of Denmark.
It was an official one and due to time for Visa processing(a lot to do even for short trips), we had to make it during the peak of winter season there.
It was very early Saturday Morning that I kind of woke up in the middle of night, and family members as well.
Then took a cab to go to the airport.
Now, sharing pics/collage on the travel day.
Left Top: I saw Mountains when flying over Afghanistan- no trace of Human habitats, probably as they might be at a big height.
Left Bottom : A general view from Window.
Right Top : A view captured showing our flight route over Turkmenistan, approaching Caspian Sea(Lots of Geography here!).
Right Bottom: Then frozen land and probably waters nearing Helsinki, Finland.
I had a stopover at Helsinki Airport in Finland for five hours before continuing for Copenhagen - the capital city of Denmark.
More to share in next post.
Pics: taken by own mobile, edited to Collage and fit size.

There have been multiple factors.
Travel cost even for companies is a big factor.
Even our choice of Airlines was dictated by Airfares plus layover times.

Our flight from Helsinki to Copenhagen was just below 2 hours.
Meals were not complimentary but available on payment.
So was Vince's flight was up to 2 to 3 hours only?

Were there any paid food choices?
Or some juice?

That is great to know.
Plus weather is just right - neither too hot nor too cold.

Wonderful pictures. Thanks for sharing.
Hope that you had a good time and stay. It is interesting to travel to other countries. International flights mostly start in the late night or very early morning. So, yes, it does disturb the sleep. It was a business trip as you mentioned. Did your family also travelled? I have been to few business trips with my husband in past, he does spent for my ticket on his own.

One of my colleagues had a small kid and traveled along with her husband.
Money was not a constraint for them.
For the rest 2 of us and for almost 10 days, it was out of question.
Even this much time means expenses upward of INR 2.5 Lakhs.
May be in the coming years, when I have earned and saved more, I can manage that.
Still, I won't do it for such a short duration.
Thanks for checking out!

That's great to know!
I know that someone from Denmark was active here a few years back.
Not sure about now.
Copenhagen and other places are kind of underrated as compared to places in Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Milan, Venice, Berlin, Rome etc but no less.
May be average costs are higher, but not very sure.
