Sunday roast dinner day ….

So, yes, it is Sunday ….again…..so we went to Moms for Sunday lunch ….
Today we had roast Pork, roast potatoes, cabbage, cauliflower, stuffing and gravy. I also had apple sauce.
As usual Mom has put me a dinner ready for tomorrow, I just have to reheat it.
The pork here at the moment is very reasonably priced. Lamb , on the other hand is stupid money !

Pork this week
That's good.
In 10 minutes we are going down for Dinner.
Who knows what the menu will offer up.
Last night Yvonne pretended not to be able to speak French and had this young waiter translate it for her.
It was quite funny

I laid steaks down to thaw this morning for supper tonight. I'll make some type of pasta to go with them and ask Pretty what else she'd prefer later.

Haven’t had steak for a few weeks now. When The Mister was doing the cooking we had it quite often , now I’m cooking , for some reason it’s been several weeks now …..maybe next weekend.
What pasta do you have with it ? Does it have sauce ?

@Traceyjayne I buy the packets of pasta and sauce mix. You cook the meat, then the sauce on top of the meat, then add the pasta and cook it last. It makes a good one skillet meal. You can also cook the sauce and pasta with the meat on the side. That's how I'll make the steaks tonight.
I use either ground beef or cut up chicken when I make the one skillet pasta meal. There are several different flavors of sauce you can buy with the packets. Cheddar cheese is a good one and so is parmesan.

I love a good pork roast. Today I will have one of the frozen dinners in the big freezer -- pot roast. There will be enough for 2 meals.
