Was it invented by Julius Caesar? Did it originate in Italy?
Nope!
The Caesar salad was invented in 1924 in Tijuana, Mexico by a man named Caesar Cardini.
A typical Caesar salad is made with romaine lettuce, croutons, parmesan cheese, and a creamy Caesar dressing made with anchovies and garlic.
Do you like Caesar salad? With the anchovies or without?

Actually I've been buying a Caesar salad kit at Walmart and it's delicious. We've been eating it a few times a week with grilled chicken. Usually I prefer blue cheese dressing on my salad but I've been hooked on this Caesar salad.

I enjoy Caesar salad. Viince likes anchovies. I'm not so keen on them.
