So, I know that ginger is good for lots of things including digestion. My Mom likes to eat it as a snack. Although I admit she has the crystallised ginger from the health food shop. Added sugar isn’t great but she has a couple of pieces, some evenings.
I bought a big bag for her for Christmas and I see today, looking at the packet there are only a few pieces left. Looks like someone will be getting another big bag for Mothers Day next month.
( I know Mothers Day is celebrated on different days in different countries ).
What’s your favourite snack ?

I have ginger candy for when I get nauseated, but I know it’s not great for my teeth so I just try to put it my mouth to kind of dissolve a little when the nausea is really bad.
I don’t snack an awful lot, but when I do, I try to make it something like a pear.

We use ground ginger in a few recipes but if I can taste the ginger in something, I don't want it. Mom used to make ginger snap cookies and, while the rest of the family ate it like candy, I turned my nose up at them. (Mom would bake sugar cookies for me.)
I like dried fruit for snacks. Dried apples when I can find them are always good. I also like raisins, dried peaches and apricots as well as dried cherries.

@Traceyjayne When I used to have guests over for Thanksgiving or Christmas, I'd add dried cranberries to the homemade bread rolls. (Dried cranberries are called craisins here.)
One friend always wanted me to use jalapeno juice in the bread rolls when he came over or when I went to their house for a big meal. I couldn't eat them but they all loved them. (They were Mexican/Louisianans and LOVED spicy foods.) They'd make versions of what they were eating with less spices so I could eat with them. (That was during the time that I had rectal cancer and anything too hot for my mouth would burn like fire when I went to the bathroom. I STILL don't eat really hot/spicy foods.)

@DaddyEvil I think I’ve had cranberries in bread ….we also have them in cheese at Christmas time.
I can understand why you don’t eat spicy foods.

I like chips but don't buy them as I eat them all at once once the packet is opened.
