A long time ago I had one of those CT scans with contrast that require you to drink something before doing it. The choices were Mixed Berry or Pina Colada. As I could not stand Pina Colada as a flavor I chose mixed Berry. It was bad, of course. But something happened where they required me to drink it AGAIN. I got so sick from it I never have anything mixed Berry again. I need one Berry only.
Does something like that affect you long term? Anyone identify with something being ruined for you? I think if I had just been made to drink it once that day, I would have been fine. By the way, if it’s literal berries in a bowl I’ll eat them. It’s things like yogurt or drinks that cause avoidance.

Pretty bought a box of pop tarts that are mixed berry. She ate part of one and threw the rest of that pack away. The rest of the box is still up in the cabinet. I certainly won't eat them. Should we sent the rest to you?

Yes, once I became sick eating spare ribs and couldn't eat them for over 20 years, but it's all ok now.

There were a couple of things that made me sick over the years. One was lemon cake. It is still not a favorite and I would never make one, but I will eat a slice here and there. I wouldn't it for probably 25 years though after the incident I had with it. The other thing was natural peanut butter. That is something I eat fairly regularly now, but not the kind you have to stir .as that is what made me ill.

When I was a kid, I saw my siblings eating vegetables. So I told my mom I wanted to eat vegetables too. She then got a spoonful of a certain kind of vegetable that I had no idea what it's called until now and fed me with it. I spit it out and even vomitted. Mom never forced me to eat vegetables ever again.

I think to be safe I would pick a flavor I don't like. I haven't heard of any of those drinks tasting good

I don't think I've ever been given a flavor choice when it comes to things before a ct or cat scan. The last several I did have were contrast right in my iv and I hate that warming feeling it gives you where you feel like you've peed yourself. Lol

@AmbiePam I hate it every time and I know I'm about due for one. Not looking forward to it at all.
