It has to go...

I'm declutterring. Been decluttering since I arrived in my new place. I have given away a lot of stuff I don't use anymore.
And this afternoon, another box of clothes were given away. The master's bedroom is still a mess and I still have tons to give or throw away.
My clothes are in the walk-in closet in the master's while I sleep in the second room temporarily.
Not sure when I will be done with everything.

Even after giving a ton of stuff away to friends, giving stuff to charity and throwing away a bunch of stuff, we still filled half the garage here with more stuff. We haven't done anything with the stuff in the garage since we moved here over 9 years ago. We need to sort through it all again and donate more stuff to charity.
I hope you get it all sorted sooner or later.

Yeah I hope so too. It's exhausting. I must learn to let go.

@toniganzon Same... I'm keeping stuff we have no use for anymore. I can't work on my own car but still have tools in the garage to do that kind of stuff. It's useless to me.

Hubby and I are minimalists. We're constantly donating items. One new item in means one old item out.

That's a good thing. I can't seem to let go of what I usually hoard. But I must learn to.

I am definitely a hoarder ….ive way too much stuff but can’t bring myself to throw anything away.

Moving really makes you see everything you’ve accumulated over the years. Even after giving away and throwing out so much, it still feels endless and exhausting. Hopefully next week, once our errands are done, I can finally prepare for a garage sale, my way of decluttering while earning a little too.
I do this every year as part of my general cleaning. Anything we don’t use anymore but is still in good condition, I sell, donate, or give away. I really don’t like clutter, so I make it a habit to clear things out regularly. I’m also intentional with what I buy as I do not want to accumulate things. Even at home, I prefer a minimalist setup. Less stuff means less to clean and less stress.
