It's National Love Your Pet Day. I know it's difficult to find ways to show our animals love and consideration, but they sure deserve it. Look at what they put up with from us humans. They have to show us how well they can chase a stick or how well they look in the latest costume we've made up for them. Their days are so long and hard. On average the cats only get about 16 hours of sleep each day. They have a strict schedule of waiting for us at the door for our return. It's such a tough life.

It's good you value much your pets. Though we give importance to our pets too but we don't have a special day to honor them.

@celticeagle yeah. Everyday is pet day for us. We do love Choey and Poppy, our dogs abd Mameng our cat.

I love a dog when you've been gone for 5 minutes. They have no concept of time and wag their rear ends off when you come back. They deserve all the love we can give them....that goes for all pets.
