Nice Neighbors

One of our favorite neighbors came by today. She asked if my daughter could set food out for her cat that doesn't come inside. She also brought us some of her homemade chili. Yummy! It had a sweet taste I wasn't used to in chili dishes. It also had corn, beef, celery, tomatoes, green peppers, green chiles, and onion in it. Very tasty!

We just had a chili cook-off at work! Twelve different chilis were represented, and I sampled every one of them! A lot of people were complaining that one of the chili dishes was too spicy, but when I sampled it I did not think it was spicy at all (I love spicy foods).

Twelve different ones. I like foods that are almost spicy. Just a hint is enough for this old gal.

@celticeagle I like all levels of spicy-ness, from mild all the way up to the hottest of the hot.

What kind do you like? Hot and spicy or mild and flavorful? I sure liked this one. Sweetness to it was really good.

Yes, it is. She brings over leftovers to us regularly. We have no problem with it at all. She is an excellent cook.
