Return flight with an enormous bicep.

Passing through Edinburgh airport today, the scanner took exception not to my legs, but to my left arm. That’s right, the left one. It was quite accepting of the right arm.
I had to have the arm manhandled by a jovial man who joked but wasn’t taking the matter lightly. He discovered a lump that he was none too happy about, but far from it being contraband or explosives it was just that I’d put my pullover on over rolled up shirt sleeves and one was bulging.
The rest of the day was uneventful and we hurtled through the sky 20,000 feet above the sea to get home.
Now it’s all over.

I'm glad they finally let you board the plane and come home.

@daddyevil Those scanners aren’t as smart as they like to think they are.

@xFiacre Same with the scanners when you go into a state building. They go off for no reason so the person has to use the handheld scanner on you.

@DaddyEvil My niece went for an interview for a job in security at the airport in Paris but the metal plate in her shoulder kept sending off bells every door she went through so they all gave up.

@ineeddentures Oh those other lumps have oft been scrutinised by zealous officials in several countries.

Actually that is rather amusing, I would say it is a pain in the neck to travel these days,

It is very odd to have an airport scan think that you are a terrorist due to your left bicep being larger than your right bicep.
