Do you complain when your packages are mishandled?

I’m not talking about the USPS because I have so little regard for them it’s not funny (remember they (some workers) stole my mail & USPS admitted it later?). I’m talking about FedEx, Amazon Prime, UPS, and the like. For the most part, my things are generally delivered by Amazon, and delivered well. Sometimes they even ring my doorbell like the instructions request to let me know the package is there (to avoid theft from that one neighbor). But on occasion, I’ll get a person who must be tired because I’ll hear it hit my door or the pavement in front of it. You can especially tell because the “proof” photos are always taken from the top of the stairs. I used to not report that until one day I heard the thud, and a crack. Indeed, something had been broken. So, after that, I started hitting the thumbs down for those deliveries. Maybe I should only do it when something is broken, but I hope to get them out of the habit of throwing/tossing items. Whether it be your postal service or Amazon, do you complain when something has been mishandled? I understand tiredness, I really do. But man! *Did you all read about the FedEx driver arrested for stealing $62,000 worth of undelivered packages? They found them in his storage unit. This was in Louisiana.

They can't just throw something here. We're not close enough to the street for the packages to make it to the porch and I've never found any packages damaged. I heard about a delivery driver throwing packages in the woods when they were running late on their route so they could go back with an empty truck.

@AmbiePam If the drivers are stealing stuff, why didn't they open the packages instead of just storing them like that?

@DaddyEvil I guess they hadn’t gotten around to it yet.

USPS is a lost cause. IF the package arrives, and arrives intact, it's cause for a celebration. FedEx is notorious for mess-ups, too. I guess that doesn't leave much but UPS or Amazon. And yes, if it's warranted, I do complain. I realize that probably will not help anything, but we pay for a service, we should get the service.
