Housings maintenance is going to come tomorrow to finish some repairs. They didn't come last time they said they were so who really knows. PLUS, now it is going to become one of their rules that all wooden or Flamable furniture has to be 3 feet away from the base board heater. Basically that means that our couch now sits in the middle of the room. It looks ridiculous.
I am so sick and so tired of their changes and new rules, and not coming when they say they are going to. I feel like lately we have no true privacy or time away from their scrutiny.
We will make it through and be fine but this just really gets old. It seems like this has just amped up over the last few years.

Yes. If it is not 3 feet away we won't pass.

@celticeagle But can't you move it away when you know they're coming?

Yes, and I get anxiety over it. Not fun.

That would be nice. I have no idea what they still have to do. It's all done as far as I can see.

I blame the guy that has taken over. He has some weird ideas.

I'm lucky that they don't do annual inspections or make crazy rules like that here. Yes they inspect the smoke detectors and fire extinguishers annually but they don't do checks on cleanliness or furniture placement. I mean yes of course I would pass a cleanliness check. The place isn't always perfect but its not an absolute hellhole. Still I would be stressed out if I had the threat of them randomly coming by to inspect.

That is all they should have to do here too. I am anxiety ridden when it's time for inspections because my daughter takes no pride in her home and I can't do it. I depend on her. My grandson is helpful but doesn't do much. I like things clean, not shiny but clean. My daughter doesn't care that much. It's a pathetic situation.
