I finally finished reading Mein Kempf by Adolf Hitler. I know it's been a long awhile. The reason for the long wait because the book was so hard to read. I wanted to read it because I often wondered why he hated the Jews so much and how he became to hate them. This book was translated by a British man.
Now I wonder if he wasn't the man he became, would he have been a great artist instead. In his book he wrote how his father wanted him to have a job behind a desk and he refused saying he wanted to fight for the country. He hated the Jews because he didn't understand that they are both a religion and a race. He believed in the lies in antisemitism.
I am so glad to be finished with this book. Now I'm listening to Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky.

Now you reminded me of something. When I was new in Germany, I went to a flea market and saw that book Mein Kampf. I didn’t know at that time that it was written by Hitler. Years letter, I heard in the tv about it and I told to my hubby that I hold that book in my hand but I could not understand German, yet. Hubby said, it must be the original book and very expensive now for collectors.

I commend you for reading it and not just believing what everyone else says about it. I couldn’t do it.
