So, I had ordered my son a subscription to Popular Mechanics for Christmas. I had called the provider because he had not received the magazine. I saw him last weekend, and thought I would just buy him one over the counter while we were getting the delivery straightened out. Luckily, I was fed up with the traffic by the time I got up there, and did not stop at the bookstore. He had the magazine it had just arrived the day before. Weird? 8 weeks on that..but I think they only publish every other month.

The good thing is he received it. Subscriptions for magazines have long stopped to exist here.

@snowy22315 Poeple prefer e-magazines here on their tablet. I used to subscribe to Vogue and Seventeen when I was in my teens. But now I couldn't see them anywhere before for sale, not even in bookstores.

He's into that kind of stuff. He fixed all the neighbors lawn equipment. It's funny because neither his father or I are mechanical in the least. His grandfather owned a radio and TV store.though repaired and sold and bought new and sold. He had the gift.

I'm glad he finally received it, though it took awhile.

Sadly, that mag today is a shadow of it's former self..but he seems to like it..says it has a few tips in there.
