Wasting Our Time, Or....

One of my neighbours says to me I'm wasting my time on mylot. " You spend hours here everyday for months. And what do you get?? Just five dollars!!" He says. " I enjoy interacting here with a worldwide community. I learn from them." I say. He is not satisfied. What do you say, friends?? Is he right??

Of course he is not right. Everybody’s situation is different. Yes, we know we don’t make a lot of money here, but firstly, every little helps and secondly, and more importantly to most people, it’s about interacting with others, learning about people and their lives……

Thank you. I know he is not right. Yes, we recieve only five dollars here, but it's better than nothing. Most importantly, I enjoy nteracting here with people from different countries. @DE had suggested me to ask him if he would give me five dollars for spending time with him. I would ask him tomorrow

That's your take on it So even if your neighbour could show you something you can earn more money, and earn it more quickly than on My lot, he might have a point But he still would not be right It's not a right or wrong issue I would tell him to shut up in all honesty Nothing to do with him Oh wait, get him to join so he would at least have some knowledge of what he is talking about

@DaddyEvil has suggested me to ask him if he would give me five dollars for spending time with him. I would ask him tomorrow. I know he wouldn't give me anything. I enjoy interacting here. That's what I gain. I'm sure he doesn't know any other site where I can make five dollars just by interacting with someone.

@Shivram59 If he gave you 5 dollars for spending the same time with him, as you do spend on here to earn 5 dollars, you would need to spend a lot of time with him

It's your choice ! Way better than spending useless time watching Reels on Instagram or Shorts on YouTube. Or interacting on Facebook. I can share a few things about daily life challenges. Learn a lot about other people from multiple countries. They too got to know a lot from us. Yes, we might not earn too much. But it is not zero. And for me, this place is a stress buster as well!

I don't watch facebook or any other social media. I get bored there. My online activities are limited to mylot and swagbucks. Mylot is the place where I share my experiences, feelings and many other things. All this has nothing to do with my earning. I never hurry to reAch the payout. Mylot is a site where we enjoy interacting with people from across the world.

I would say spending time with him is also wasting my time, then. It's the same difference. Except people online don't ask to borrow your money or your lawn mower.

@Shivram59 i joined here in january and i don't always have time or i'm not in the best mood but i also think this kind of socialization here has more advantages on my mind then idle talking and some lazier behaviour

He is woefully ignorant of what Mylot offers. It offers friendship, encouragement, knowledge, understanding, and support. It’s a shame he hasn’t found a home here like we have.

It’s not about the money. It’s about friendship, expression, learning, and sharing. By the way, my husband and I donate monthly to our favorite charities out of our own pockets including the tiny bit earned from myLot.

Thank you. I told him that I'm not here for money. Money is just a bonus.. I'm here to interact with people from across the world. I enjoy interacting with them. And then, I asked him a question @ DE suggested me last night. I asked him would he give me a single dollar if I spend time with him. He gazed at me and left.

Don't listen him. If you feel well here and still receive some money, he has nothing to do with that. You aren't wasting your time, you are here speaking with people from all over the world, share experiences and ideas and learn about others culture.
