When You first Kissed Someone You Really Liked How Did You Feel?

Finding that first special person who puts you on cloud nine in a romantic way is a tremendous feeling. Being emotionally and physically involved in a relationship differs among each of us, but most of us can recall how we felt.
Some of the feelings I experienced when I kissed someone, I really liked were nervousness, warmth, closeness, and excitement. Those kisses wound up developing into a dating relationship and going steady, but we both were too young and immature to make it go any further, eventually we broke up.
If you feel like sharing, how would you answer any of these questions:

My girlfriend had a slumber party; and with the exception of a couple of us, everyone else was asleep. My girlfriend's brother came home; and he was pretty inebriated. He told us some tall tales of how he was a spy, etc. I knew he was lying. I followed him around to the hallway....I knew there was mistletoe hanging from the hallway light....and I stood under it. Yes, we kissed; and it was my first kiss ever and what a kiss it was!!!!. I was 17 and he was 24!!! He didn't remember that kiss; but a year later we started dating; and he was my husband for 54 years.

Wow, what an amazing love story! Was it love at first kiss for you; from your reaction it definitely appeared to be very special.

My first kiss was when I was 13. He was the cutest boy in my 8th grade class, but of course it didn't last. We were soon stationed in California, a few thousand miles away.
He went on to become well known in martial arts.

@dgobucks226 I think those were the feelings I got. My husband was the first kiss I had, to whom I am married for almost 45 years.
