Saying and cliches
Well I try not to let any of them bug me but more and more do bug me
What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
That annoys me no end

It just does.
Why not what's good for the cow is good for the bull?

@traceyjayne it irritates me no end when I say to people “How are you?” And they say “I’m good” rather than “I’m well”. Do people no longer learn the difference between adverbs and adjectives?

@Traceyjayne And that’s not all that’s not taught today. I constantly hear people ending phrases and even sentences with prepositions!!! Did you ever? And they don’t understand it when I correct them.

A bird in the bush is worth two in hand? Whats does that actually even mean? It seems very misogynist ;-)

It is better to keep what you have rather than risk it trying to get more ….and failing.

OH, MY! You are probably not going to believe this, but I absolutely hate that saying so much ''It is what it is''...oh, I really don't like it. To me, it's like acceptance of something bad, or something you don't want to deal with when it's said. Thank you for posting this, now I don't feel so badly for hating that saying!!

Giving you a heads up. What makes it even worse is that I use that phrase. Stupid me.

Having said that, the one thing that is really annoying me right now is when people talk about 'lived experience'. I mean what other kind of experience is there?
