Will Ayatolah Khamenei's death set free Iranians?

March 2, 2026 12:25am CST
Thousands of Iranian protesters were murdered this year lone for protesting against the oppressive rule in the country. The question is, will Khamenei's death bring an end to that oppressive system or it will be a continuation with a new supreme leader elect? Hopefully, Iranians will have what they want with a regime change.

Of course NOT. Did anything change in Afghanistan after the Americans left them alone? It's worst than it was before.

It’s understandable to hope for change, but even after the reported killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei—which has triggered mourning, protests, and regional tensions—the path to real political reform or a complete system overhaul is still very uncertain and could take a long time.

I don't think anything will change in Iran.
