I often buy cereals, for my kids, but my partner is against it. He said it is not healthy, and is full of sugar, and instead of gaining weight, they lose weight, because of eating rice sometimes and protein, if they see the cereals, they will choose cereals instead. Is there cereals that you buy that are good and healthy?

Things like porridge and weetabix are better to have than sugar and additive loaded cereals.
Children may like something called overnights oats….its very popular at the moment…..layer oats with yogurt and fruits. Leave in the fridge overnight….its very tasty and the children could choose their own flavour of yogurt and the mix of fruits they want.

Sugar cereals are usually toxic, and loaded with additives and chemicals. Look at the box and read the ingredients. Look up the ones you never heard of. You might get a huge surprise.

You pay for eating the unhealthy cereals with eating way too much sugar and possibly other health issues. They have weird, chemical-like ingredients and a TON of sugar. I'm not a food snob by any means, but I wouldn't feed them to a child.

Here in Scotland we do eat a lot of breakfast cereals.
Some appear to be more healthy than others.
I think the one we buy called Weetabix isn't too bad.

@Ineeddentures I like rice porrdige or arroz caldo, one cook with egg, and chicken strips. I've tried that not all my kids liked it.
