I mentioned a couple of weird laws in a couple of US states yesterday, so I thought I'd pick on my own state of Kentucky this time and show you some stupid laws still on the books.
Hunting from a moving vehicle is prohibited, with the exception of hunting whales. No, there aren't any oceans or whales in Kentucky.
Annual showers are mandatory.
It is illegal to have sex while on a parked motorcycle, specifically in London, Kentucky.
It's illegal to marry the same person more than 3 times.
In Franklin County, Kentucky, it's illegal to trade horses after dark.
In Owensboro, Kentucky, women are required to get their husband’s permission to buy a hat (Like I said, these laws are outdated but still on the books)
It's illegal to fish with a bow and arrow
It's Illegal to throw flowers, eggs, or tomatoes at public speakers.

Can you imagine the people on the committee having to put up with somebody who insisted on including the phrase about hunting whales from a moving vehicle when you live in a land-locked state? I bet the rest of them were rolling their eyes so hard some of them lost eyeballs!
EWW! And now you know why @TheHorse insists on taking his yearly showers! I wonder if he ever lived in Kentucky?
I have friends who married each other 3 times... We were all tired of hearing them argue after their third divorce. I can imagine why that law went on the books!
Bow fishing is still legal in Missouri with a valid fishing license. Some of my older brothers used to go fishing like that.

That's weird indeed. I have not heard or read from our local laws which are out of this world.
