It was trump that first attacked Iran. Israel just followed US, and join to help US against IRAN. I feel like the claim of trump in attacking first Iran, is somewhat useless. He wanted prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons and to stop what it sees as threats to U.S. interests and regional allies. For me, there are other ways to these, bringing conflict, just created more problems, and deaths. And now that Iran's supreme leader died, the conflict just prolonged, because they vowed to avenge his death.
I am seeing patterns from World War 1, the reason for world war 1 was the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary on June 28, 1914, in Sarajevo.
The death of leader of Iran, can be the start of another world war.

I predict it will be another Afganistan, many soldiers dying and in the end the Mullas will still be in power.
COMPLETELY POINTLESS

That’s the real fear — that history repeats itself and ordinary people pay the price while nothing fundamentally changes. Let’s hope it doesn’t go that way.

Smoke and mirrors. It wasn’t six months ago that we were told Iran’s nuclear capability was destroyed. Now we have to hit it again because they were able to completely rebuild it in six months?!
I agree that it’s a distraction from the Epstein thing. Either that or he wants to be president of the U.S., Iran, and Israel simultaneously.

Yeah, it's a distraction, but soo pointlesss. There are other things that he could have done to distreact, not create another war.

So Trump is still lying
Iran never had a nuclear capability
And today Trump said Iran had missiles which could reach America
They don't.
He can't even make his mind up why he started the war.

@Ineeddentures — if his lips are moving then he’s lying.

Nothing is going to happen except the loss of lives and property. Iran will surrender once their weapons are finished, or maybe the war will continue for a long time if China and Russia help Iran. This war will definitely affect the economy of the world as prices will increase.

Yeah, markets are already reacting with oil and gas prices up, so inflation and higher living costs are definitely possible.

I fully agree with @lifecoachjerusalem another Afghanistan. Many young men will die and in Iran nothing will change. How can he pretend that he NOW destroyed Iran's nuclear plants, when he already declared he did months ago?

Totally — if it was already declared done months ago, repeating it now just adds to the confusion.

@cuttyrish He also pretended he had killed all the leaders, but the son of the previous leader was elected yesterday. That man can only lie.

what is so ridiculous is Iran attacking various other Muslim nations, as well as Crete. What did Crete do? Iran's reactions will further enable the US to bomb it to bits and probably send non-American boots in.
Imagine Trump telling some nation he will remove tariffs or reinstitute health care if they send X troops into Iran.
I think he's borrowed Putin's play book

Did Iran attacked Crete as well? I thought it was only attacking those with US bases. Iran isn’t openly targeting multiple Muslim nations.

@jaylar Iran’s strikes are basically retaliation for U.S.–Israel attacks — mostly hitting bases and military sites in Gulf states, not just civilian targets randomly.

@cuttyrish yeah... it attacked Crete... Iran is attacking a lot of Muslim countries ... Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, ... on and on. Plus this blockage in the sea
