Bystanders rescue a senior man who fell into water in Texas

A senior man who is in his 70s fell off his boat in Lake Athens on Monday when bystanders who entered the water to rescue the senior man who fell into the water.
Henderson County Game Wardens in Texas managed to rescue the senior man and taken by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to a local hospital to be treated for injuries in the accident.
I hope that the senior citizen will make a full recovery soon.

I wonder why he fell off of his boat, maybe a medical incident, carelessness, or just misadventure. He was lucky that people were around to assist him, and to inform the Game wardens of the necessity to do so.

Most likely an accident aboard the boat was the cause of the man falling into the river.
